Feeling a connection with your stylist is essential. It's important to set up a consultation prior to any service appointment. During the consultation, your stylist should ask open-ended questions, and actively listen to your feedback. It's during this time you will determine the ease with which you two communicate. In most cases, if it seems dialogue flows organically, and a connection feels authentic, you'll likely be a match. Remember too, that your stylist is a professional with extensive training. So, come with an open mind and ready to hear suggestions. Stylists, first and foremost, have the health of your hair in mind when making recommendations. They may or may not have suggestions that align with your immediate hair goals. But, rest assured, the goal is to get you there.
